During the warranty period, attention should be paid to the following parts of the connecting rod for proper functioning.
(1) The oiling hole in the connecting rod head should not be blocked, and the position of the small hole should be toward the right side of the engine, not reversed. Both the big side and the small side of the connecting rod should be oriented in the direction of the oil-filling hole, otherwise the oil on the piston pin will be insufficient, aggravating the wear of the pin and the copper bushing.
(2) The center lines of the small and large head bearing nest holes of the connecting rod should be parallel to each other, and the distance between the small and large head bearing nest holes and the center line is permitted to be 0.05mm within a length of 100mm, and 0.10mm within a length of 100mm. if it exceeds the above permissible range, it should be calibrated and blended, or else the top of the piston is not of the same height, which affects the compression ratio and causes power imbalance and running Unstable operation. And also due to the bending of the connecting rod.
The piston is stuck in the cylinder, aggravating the wear and tear of the piston, piston ring and cylinder wall, and seriously affecting the pressure of the cylinder. A set of connecting rod bearing holes with large center and length errors may confuse connecting rods of similar engines, which occurs in overhaul workshops. If not corrected in time, it will not only make the compression ratio inconsistent, but also affect the positioning center of the cutting connecting rod bearings and cutting connecting rod copper bushings.
(3) The twist of the connecting rod must not exceed the tolerance. Large head bushing hole and small head bushing hole in the length of 100 mm is not parallel, twisted. 05 mm, that is, when there is an angle between the two center lines, should be corrected. After the engine is disassembled, remove the bearings and brass sleeves and correct them according to the connecting rod end faces.
