The connecting rod is a rod-like zero-zhidao piece that connects the piston to the crankshaft. Its function is to transmit the great pressure of the piston to the crankshaft, so that the crankshaft makes circular motion. The connecting rod consists of three parts: the small end of the connecting rod, the rod body and the big end of the connecting rod. The small end of the connecting rod is integrated with the rod body, with bronze bushings in the holes, connected to the piston with a piston pin; the cross-section of the rod body is I-beam, which reduces the quality under the guarantee of strength and stiffness and keeps it from deforming when it is back-pressurized; the big end of the connecting rod is divided into two parts, the upper part is cast in one piece with the rod body, and the lower part is the rod bearing cover, which is connected to the upper part with a bolt. In order to ensure that the connecting rod head can be smoothly withdrawn from the cylinder, the connecting rod head has two forms of flat cut and oblique cut. To minimize friction in the connecting rod journal, a layer of anti-friction alloy is poured on the bearing surface. The positioning between the connecting rod and bearing cap is generally in the form of stops, teeth and sleeves to ensure accurate clamping of both.
